About the Event

In our crazy paced, constantly changing world we may find ourselves feeling isolated, lonely, anxious, overwhelmed, stressed out, depressed, and/or exhausted. Or perhaps you’re not experiencing any of those feelings. Maybe you just know there is “more” to this life than what your experiencing, or maybe you’re looking for deeper, more meaningful ways of connecting with God, yourself, and others.

In this six week online course we will practice encountering, exploring, and engaging God’s presence in our daily routine throughout Lent by introducing and practicing four different contemplative prayer practices, Breath Prayer, Welcome Prayer, the Examen, and Centering Prayer. Together we will discover how these practices can help us to encounter and engage with our life and circumstances in a radically different way, increasing our ability to navigate life in a way that is full of hope, love, trust and abundance by resting in who God is.

Logistics:

We will meet from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, CST on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, March 1st 
  • Wednesday March 8th
  • Wednesday, March 15th
  • Wednesday, March 22nd
  • Wednesday, March 29th
  • Wednesday, April 5th.

Our meetings will be online via Zoom. Be sure to download the app to your computer or device prior to our first session.
