About the Event
In our crazy paced, constantly changing world we may often find ourselves feeling isolated, lonely, anxious, overwhelmed, stressed out, depressed, and exhausted. Or perhaps you’re not experiencing any of those feelings. Maybe you just know there is “more” to this life than what your experiencing, or maybe you’re looking for deeper, more meaningful ways of connecting with God, yourself, and others.
We actually have the ability to encounter and engage with our life and circumstances in a radically different way. Using practices that have been around for hundreds of years we have the ability to navigate life in a way that is full of hope, love, trust and abundance.
In this workshop we will practice encountering, exploring, and engaging God’s presence in our daily routine through four different contemplative prayer practices, Breath Prayer, Welcome Prayer, the Examen, and Centering Prayer.
