Commune In Unity
Updated: Sep 23, 2020

Community is a funny word. We use it a lot, I think, without truly knowing what it really means. The definition of commune, as a verb, is "to converse or talk together, usually with profound intensity, intimacy, etc.; interchange thoughts or feelings." The definition of unity is "the state or fact of being united or combined into one, as of the parts of a whole."
I would like to propose a good working definition of community is a space where we can talk openly and intimately with profound intensity, exchanging thoughts and feelings, so that we can learn how to be our true selves with others and become as one.
The question is, "Do you have this type of community in your relationships, work, church, neighborhood? If not, why not?"
